When the day is over, we recommend just enjoying the silence, a good dinner and a hot sauna after a whole day in the wilderness.
You cannot find accommodation that is more personal, comfortable, rustic and close to nature than ours!

Sweden’s smallest restaurant!?
Our new restaurant is finally ready! It is very small – more like a large kitchen where people can gather, help prepare the food, and enjoy each other’s company. Just like in a real home kitchen. It has been built inside an old garage/barn with large double doors that can be opened towards the outdoor area when the sun is shining, making the inside feel like the outdoors and the outdoors feel like an extension of the room.
We will be serving hearty homemade meals, as well as lighter dishes, barbecue evenings, and pizza nights!
Behind the kitchen, we have built a traditional bathing house with a sauna, a spacious relaxation area with a wood-burning stove and wicker chairs, as well as showers and toilets. After a day outdoors, guests can unwind in the bathing house before heading into the kitchen to enjoy a drink from the bar and Johannes’ delicious cooking.

Welcome to us this summer!
Experience the peaceful way of life in the heart of inland Norrland for a while. Start your day with a cup of coffee on the porch and enjoy the silence (apart from the birdsong, of course). Take a walk through the forest or paddle a canoe out onto the lake. End the day with an evening swim in the cool waters and spend the night outdoors, taking in the views of the lake and mountains – simply because it never really gets dark.
With us, you’ll find gentle adventures for both young and old. If you wish, you can get to know the locals, discover the village, and become part of our community. Welcome! Explore our accommodation and activities. We are happy to share our own favourite excursions and lend out sledges, kicksleds, and snowshoes.

Be sure to visit our local village store Norråkers Handel
At our local village store, Norråkers Handel, you’ll find most of the groceries and essentials you may need during your stay. We are happy to prepare your shopping and have it waiting in your accommodation when you arrive. Simply send us an email with your list of items, and we’ll take care of the rest.
The store also has a small café serving homemade treats, as well as light meals such as homemade pies and both hot and cold sandwiches.
